It’s funny because this is exactly the way kids act when they are tired/hungry. They hate everything.

When my little one is having a strop, regardless of the reason, he just says “I don’t like my brother” haha

He loves his brother, he just knows it’ll get a reaction.

Donny, you’re not you when you’re hungry, here’s a double quarter pounder with cheese, since you refuse to eat the “grown up food” that the White House chefs prepared when you were in office

i like how they opted to use ‘k’ as an abbreviation for an already 4 digit number in order to make it appear that more people give a shit.

Looking at the thing again to verify what you said let me see that they call shares “re-truths” which is so perfectly on the nose it would be groan inducing if this was a novel instead of real life.

It’s honestly a skill issue if someone buys inflated numbers by two factors of ten–oh, wait. It’s a site of conservatives. Sorry, I forgot I was intelligent, and that others are not. This may very well be effective after all.

Plenty of skull issues to go around with that lot

Edit: accidentally typed in skull instead of skill, gonna keep it because it still applies.

The wiser thing would have been for Trump to just ignore her and move along. But when has wisdom ever got in the way of Donald Trump.

he tweets it, other reblog it. are you seeing how this works for him, yet? won’t matter. the dopamine hit in getting upvotes for the monster who throws the dead cat on the table outweigh any logical argument on how mockery is precisely what trump and vance want, it takes energy, energy which would otherwise go to praising harris and waltz. he knows he can push them below the fold at any point, including coming off a decisive loss during the debate, and swifts endorsement, all anyone’s talked about for 4 days are hatiians in springfield ohio, and that is how internet mockery helps him. this is not new news. yet people can’t stop. and trump depends on that. it’s all he has.

yes. if you haven’t parsed out the dead cat protocol, simply by watching this idiots actions in the past 8 years, here is boris johnson spelling it out (energy and matter can neither be created nor destroyed, they simply change forms) :

“There is one thing that is absolutely certain about throwing a dead cat on the dining room table – and I don’t mean that people will be outraged, alarmed, disgusted. That is true, but irrelevant. The key point, says my Australian friend, is that everyone will shout, “Jeez, mate, there’s a dead cat on the table!” In other words, they will be talking about the dead cat – the thing you want them to talk about – and they will not be talking about the issue that has been causing you so much grief.”

this is all trump has, and every reblog and repetition only assists him, because it pushes harris out of the news cycle. seemingly bright people still don’t understand it, even after so much time, and trump doing the same exact this over and over again. dude is close to winning another term as president, because he does THIS exact thing.

He doesn’t have to be smart to use this tactic to get attention back to him. If he was smart, it would be a topic that would retain attention longer and not be so obviously narcissistic.

If that’s what he is doing he is going about it very poorly. Hating on the most popular and well liked American, with a notoriously passionate and dedicated fan base, is guaranteed to cause his campaign problems. This is going to cost him votes.

        This is 2024.

No attention is bad attention. Literally all that matters is you stay in people’s phone feeds, in front of their eyeballs. So yes… this is helping Trump, as the attention opportunity cost is literally anything but Trump.

I’m sorry, that’s ludicrous. People don’t want to vote for someone more just because they see them more. That’s not how anything works. Elections, even in 2024, are not “look at me” contests.

I could see that being one of a very few possible events that might actually get enough people off their asses to force legitimate change in this country. It’s dumb but so are we so it tracks.
