First of all, she’s buying for two people. No one buys two brands for themselves.

She’s got halls in her hand with the shaken up soda. At least it’s not beer.

It’s also a paparazzi pic. Fuck those people.

She was also a mess around that time. And rumor has it she did some entertainment work in the middle east for awhile after.

But i feel like pics like this and ben Affleck sighing might be them being annoyed as fuck at people taking their picture 24/7. I def don’t want my picture taken when I’m coming out of a store at any time.

Also, I laughed and sent this to a friend so they could laugh too.

While from their perspective I absolutely wouldn’t want it, from my perspective this type of thing is the only thing that humanizes celebrities. I tend to assume all celebrities are huge pieces of shit because their wealth insultes them from consequence. Pictures like those two, and the video of Tobey Mcguire telling people to get out of the road are the only photos or videos ive seen of these people that makes me have any respect for them at all. It makes them seem real, as though they have problems too, and in these cases they’re generally justified. Then you have videos or audio like tom cruise freaking the fuck out at that dude and you realise that you are 100% right about 95% of celebrities, they’re a waste of fucking space.

Edit: evidently this has happened multiple times. Dunno about the covid situation, but screaming at people isn’t how you handle things as an adult.

That audio of Tom Cruise yelling at the guy for ignoring COVID safety standards and refusing to mask on set for Mission Impossible right at the peak of the pandemic where any outbreak would shut down production?

He was kinda in the right for that one.

Bring up his scientology or Oprah interview.

Nah, im not finding it because google is only pulling up that(i guess that news mustve broke and i missed it? I don’t follow celebrities) but it was audio of him screaming at an intern for walking on set. It was just a diva moment. But yeah, tom cruise has a bunch of issues but none hit me as viscerally as him screaming at people who dont deserve it. And even in the covid shit, thats no excuse for screaming. He’s a professional, he needs to act like it. Tell the guy “either mask up, or you’re fired. This isn’t a discussion” and thats all you have to do. Screaming like you’re a 2 year old who just figured out voice modulation is fucking childish no matter the situation.

          Dudes like, what, 50?

Yea, I can’t count the number of days I would be embarrassed to be photographed in public. Some days are just rough, you don’t want to get ready but can pretty much anonymously go out with messy hair and wearing the clothes you wore to bed.

Buying cigs by the carton is not just heavy smoking. That signals commitment to the downward spiral for the foreseeable future. Though, the two different brands of cigarette indicates she was buying for someone else as well. Parliaments were never for casuals.

Where I live, it’s like a USD1.00 discount if you buy a carton vs however many packs are in a carton

When I worked at a gas station it was practically the same, sometimes the carton would be more expensive than 10 packs because most smokes have a 2 for 1 deal tied to them. I can’t remember if it was corporate or big tobacco but one of them cracked down on it and changed the rules to where we would get in deep trouble if we sold a “loose carton”.

I doubt the celebrity was concerned about that. Well for all I know she was headed to volunteer at a homeless shelter and wanted to bring gifts. Or not but it’s okay to imagine people a are good

Economical. But also saves you extra trips. If you’re trying to avoid the paparazzi and hide in your house for two weeks (partying maybe) you get the fuckin carton.

God I wish I had a parliament right now lol marbs are mid but yeah the p is a great drunk cig. Haven’t smoked for like 12 years but you never stop wanting them

    • When I lost my job I switched from my $8-$9 pack beloved camel blue 99s to Marlboro Black 100s. $4 per pack at Sheetz with coupon. They are not nearly as good and stain my fingers like I haven’t washed my hands in days. Gotta be worse for me. I haven’t switched back even though I got an even better job because paying that much for smokes is just stupid.

And yeah I travel a lot and know I have some of the lowest prices around. I always stock up before a trip.

Wow. I’m not a smoker so I didn’t realise how cheap it was overseas. Accorfing to numbeo a pack of 20 Marlborough Reds costs about $30 US (according to my smoker friends it’s about $50 AU depending on where you go). It’s created a very lucrative black market in tobacco.

Here in the USA there’s been a lucrative cigarette black market for years thanks to states taxing them differently.

Folks going to Virginia from DC / MD would often take orders from friends.

Thank god I don’t smoke anymore.
