While from their perspective I absolutely wouldn’t want it, from my perspective this type of thing is the only thing that humanizes celebrities. I tend to assume all celebrities are huge pieces of shit because their wealth insultes them from consequence. Pictures like those two, and the video of Tobey Mcguire telling people to get out of the road are the only photos or videos ive seen of these people that makes me have any respect for them at all. It makes them seem real, as though they have problems too, and in these cases they’re generally justified. Then you have videos or audio like tom cruise freaking the fuck out at that dude and you realise that you are 100% right about 95% of celebrities, they’re a waste of fucking space.
Edit: evidently this has happened multiple times. Dunno about the covid situation, but screaming at people isn’t how you handle things as an adult.

That audio of Tom Cruise yelling at the guy for ignoring COVID safety standards and refusing to mask on set for Mission Impossible right at the peak of the pandemic where any outbreak would shut down production?
Nah, im not finding it because google is only pulling up that(i guess that news mustve broke and i missed it? I don’t follow celebrities) but it was audio of him screaming at an intern for walking on set. It was just a diva moment. But yeah, tom cruise has a bunch of issues but none hit me as viscerally as him screaming at people who dont deserve it. And even in the covid shit, thats no excuse for screaming. He’s a professional, he needs to act like it. Tell the guy “either mask up, or you’re fired. This isn’t a discussion” and thats all you have to do. Screaming like you’re a 2 year old who just figured out voice modulation is fucking childish no matter the situation.

He was kinda in the right for that one.
Bring up his scientology or Oprah interview.
