This is kind of a privileged take, not everyone can urgently change their job and/or lifestyle or grew up with the resources to find themselves in demand by the economy.
I disagree. Sure you can end up in such a situation without your own fault, but the real risk is still to live in a situation where you are totally dependent on a unstable income. Even taking a worse job but one that allows you to keep expenses lower or share housing is preferable to a situation where you can be exploited so easily.
I think what you’re trying to say is that the current job has put OP in the position of being economically unstable, so it’s worth taking a risk to find a job that leaves them with greater economic stability in the long run. Does that sound right?
Yes more or less. If you are afraid of switching jobs you can be easily exploited. So it is better to do preemptive risk mitigation to ensure that you are not in such a precarious situation any longer.
