I’m annoyed at the use of “net-zero” as a goal in the article
That was the goal for decades going into 2020, we should be net-negative going past that
Yeah, but… profits.
Ugh…I got to see the ad the Alberta’s tax payers paid to show in Ontario today
It talked about how renewables/nuclear will leave us all without heat or power in the winter and how we have to petition the Feds to all in on oil
So, Canada is a a petrostate/ghg emitter? As someone who watched their uncles poison the hell out of the ocean while depleting the fish stocks, and my father haul gasoline, diesel, and other combustibles for over 40 year, all while overconsuming everything, replacing every broken thing instead of repairing it, drive 5 minutes to get the mail… I am shocked. Just shocked.
fyi
I’m lying. That was sarcasm. You got me.
:|
sorry for the sarcasm
Don’t forget leaky refrigerators in grocery stores.
Alberta and Saskatchewan are both Petrostates and literally are more than 70% of all Canada’s CO2 emissions.
It’s, half of all ghgs, not 70%, but still two provinces representing 15% of the population emitting 50% of GHG CO2e is insane.
frig’s sake
Go ahead. Vent away.
