In 2011 too. That’s pre-BLM. I can’t think of anything out of the ordinary where white people were getting called out or felt under threat. I think this is just good old fashion, “Momma says” racism.

During the Obama administration, some honkies felt every day was oppression. The FEMA camp conspiracies were off the chain.

Yet…here we are. Who made the camps now?

Although, in both cases, it’s the DHS. Why is FEMA part of that? There was, and is obviously, legitimate concern of the DHS being used to oppress people. They were just lied to about who was planning on doing it. Structurally the critique was, at least in part, valid.

As usual, for entirely batshit crazy irrational reasons. These are the same people who prior to 9/11 worried about the “New World Oder” and UN Agenda 21 meaning that French troops in blue helmets would go door to door and take guns away from Americans. If there was a Polymarket back then, how many of these people would have bet their life savings every year on that outcome and been wrong every. single. time. And kept on betting on it year after year.

Then after the Patriot Act created DHS, FEMA became the boogeyman because it would be the conduit for executing emergency powers, and 9/11 was the first national emergency in the lives of most conspiracy nuts. Sort of like how ICE is the specific agency under DHS murdering people, DHS, other than PuppyKiller herself, is largely removed from the day-to-day operations of sub-agencies. I imagine there was also a certain racist stripe of “yes, we want homeland security…from brown people. Keep doing anything you want to them, that’s fine.” Then the discordant wish to not let FEMA get some Deep State cancer and Obama put all the Good Ol’ Boys in camps. Functionally, it makes no sense, but the same people think the President is a King or God, so who fucking knows.

Structurally, there was a basis in fact only so far as “this agency does things during emergencies.” Past that, it’s all to sell newsletters and books and tacticool powdered eggs. Combined with the fact that any new agency created in the US government immediately gets populated by idiots that wouldn’t get promoted if they stayed somewhere else, DHS and FEMA have consistently demonstrated significant ineptitude and being too slow-moving to do much in the way of dealing with an actual emergency. Under DHS, maaaybe CISA and the Coast Guard are/were competent and that’s about it. Meaning that anyone seriously fearing conspiracy-style “FEMA camps” for their NWO national roundup would have 6-18 months of lead time to know the camps are being built (poorly by the highest bidder) and maybe never even get done due to cost overruns.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk about Classic Conspiracy Nuts and you.

I mean Epstein and Ghisline were literally Mossad and Israel owns our politicians and still has all the blackmail footage so while the Jew hate isn’t justified Israel is absolutely an extremely powerful villain that has our government occupied. I think too many of the rantings on the right are starting to be connected to threads of truth in the latest file dump. I mean Epstein (a Jewish supremisist) was literally spreading these theories on 4 Chan with Steve Bannon they were Q

I mean I’m kind of curious. It’s probably horrible but I would like to see/heat it somehow.

I bought a CD in Edinburgh from a guy who was part of a particular eastern religion, he called it ‘monk rock’. It was not terrible, but worth it for the story.

If I remember rightly in the UK in the 70s there was a subculture called Skinheads. It was similar to early Punk with big boots and leather jackets but having a shaved head was a big part of it. So was reggae music. They loved the reggae.

Gradually, however, Skinhead culture became political in a way that has nothing to do with reggae music. Before long Skinheads were violent white supremacists.

Point is I assume at some stage in that transition there must have been Skinheads that were far enough along politically to be White Nationalists but still retain the original love for the reggae. So I don’t think it would be that far fetched to assume some of them might have had a go at making a song or two.

Would it be any good? Probably not. Will I be looking for it? No. If it was on the radio right now would I listen to it? Again, no. But does it exist somewhere out there? I believe it probably does!

SHARPs are Skin Heads Against Racist People. they want to get back to the origins of the skinhead movement, which ironically has its roots in acting in solidarity with Black coworkers on a labor force against racism. back in the late 60s and early 70s, bosses would make their Black employees shave their heads as “a safety measure” either agailst lice or getting caught in factory equipment. meanwhile their white counterparts were allowed to maintain their hairstyles. if you know anything about the history of genocide, you know shaving heads is part of dehumanization. so some white working people started shaving their heads to communicate with their black coworkers “i am you, and you are me. we are human, and we are together”

this became such a common act of labor solidarity that the racist origins of the bosses shaving heads was lost. so by the late 70s you had white people shaving their heads in solidarity with labor, but without any notion that this solidarity extended across racial bounds. it wasn’t long after that you see the british Labour party shift from being a leftist party to being a fascist-lite party
