America’s like the only place where if we were invaded, we’d cheer on the invaders.

Canada you need to take this shit over, save us from Republicans

American idiots voted in a convicted felon, alleged child rapist, and prolific pantshitting dictator. They voted this guy in even after he’d tried to overthrow their government the last time he lost. They WANT what’s going on.

I don’t want them to be part of Canada’s voter base.

    Don’t do it, Canada.

You’d suddenly be expanding your population 8-9x over (even factoring a war in), and at least 40% of the newly minted Canadians would ‘think’ and vote like Albertan roughnecks.

I was like, “that’s crazy, like what would that logo even look like, a Mountie? A woodsman in flannel?” - because there’s no image on the wiki article.

Then I found this old article which contains the funny backstory, and explains its definitely a woodsman, and used to be a pine tree…

“Look, I was always embarrassed by our symbol,” says assistant principal Ralph Sorrentino, a North Plainfield football player in the ’50s. “We had a mascot dressed as a tree. South Plainfield had a tiger.” It was a particular problem when they played the Metuchen Bulldogs. “You know what dogs do to trees,” he says.

So in the early 1970s North Plainfield’s teams became the Canucks—woodsmen who cut down trees.

Yeah, IIRC, it was a bearded woodsman holding crossed axes, or something like that. Maybe it was an axe over one shoulder.

The “Little Canada” is also pretty questionable too.

North Plainfield is just across a tiny river and North of Plainfield. Plainfield has a very high black population and pretty fucking ghetto, at least on Front through 4th st. (I lived on 4th Street for six months… the first murder of a new year was right on my front lawn. It was a drive by… stabbing. My mom immediately moved us to North Plainfield and just by crossing that little stream, we went from counting crack vials, on the side walk, on my way to school, to manicured lawns and all white neighbors that wave. So North Plainfield was making a comparison of itself to Plainfield as Canada to the U.S…

I am still not sure how to take that.

But you already have Albeta. You could just make it a home for all the anti vaxers and isolate them. Let the ocean take care of the rest as it continues to rise.

Fuck that. California, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, and Texas should just be given back to Mexico. None of this assigning colonist names.

Giving Colorado, Montana, and part of the Dakotas to the natives is cool but I do feel like the majority of other tribes are getting sort of shafted by comparison. Honestly, Cheyenne population is so small after the Sand Creek Massacre and similar events that they don’t even make up 1% of native populations. The Navajo, Cherokee, and Alaskan Natives, for example, each measure in the hundreds of thousands. About 8,000 people self-identify as Cheyenne and only 800 speak the language.

Well, one thing the U.S. and Canada have I’m common is their shitty treatment of natives.

I wouldn’t expect much in that direction.

Not sure I’d want Dominion to include Texas, Louisiana, Florida, or Carolina. Not sure about Virginia. Aren’t they mostly MEGA cultists?

This version of Virginia also includes West Virginia and Kentucky, so yeah it’d be MAGA.

Northern Virginia by itself is fine due to proximity to DC.

OK but if you assimilate all land you’ve left nowhere to exile the undesirables that aren’t happy with this arrangement. If your leadership’s policy popularity is 50%, your country should split.

Nonsense! This leaves your with three perfectly suitable oceans on your own coastline to deposit that trash into.

Just make to remove their clothes and personal effects first - we wouldn’t want any of the marine wildlife to encounter a choking hazard in one of their new snacks.
