That’s dangerous. I believe journalism should be apolitical and the truth is the goal, not the spin. Sometimes we get close but mostly it’s an ideal. There is nothing good that happens for the citizenry when a government tries to control the truth.

I can only hope the military is bound to the Constitution and not the old crazy, dangerous man.

Trumps “tech bros” cannot keep the truth from the masses forever. The truth is slippery and always finds a way out, eventually. I hope that, in the near future, something is done about the power of subscribing and gross wealth accumulation for all of those “tech bros”. That power should always reside with the people although it’s currently in the hands of a bunch of adult middle-schoolers.

I love music and have listened to it all my life. Mostly current popular stuff. Over time I found that the music industry was becoming formulaic and no longer resonated with me. It seems it had lost it’s soul and was used more for marketing clothing lines or a “scent”. I still listen to new music, new for me anyway, but I find it in the past, before I was born. Lately I’ve been listening to Louis Prima non-stop. Man that guy had charisma, was funny, and he could sing and play that trumpet like nobody. I try to keep politics out of my music but there are great political songs as well. “Wanted Man” - Manhattan Transfer; “There is no Time” - Lou Reed, for example. I agree that there are always musical nuggets of gold to find in any generation, if you dig around a little. Reminds me of the Paul Simon line “Every generation throws a hero up the pop charts”. I have nothing against the new music, I just don’t pursue it anymore. All the best.

Never heard of this guy until he hosted SNL. He was great and has a very good sense of humour. I liked him. Then, very recently, he showed up in Happy Gilmore 2 and again, he was great! I don’t listen to new music anymore so I can’t comment on that (I’m old and ignorant).
