Oh my god had to run errands yesterday and overnight everything became fucking Christmas. Retailers are already playing Christmas music! I saw one, ONE end cap for Thanksgiving in the entire store I was at and AISLES of Christmas crap
Personally I’m refusing to buy anything Christmas related from any store that does that. It’s just so cringe and obvious “BUY BUY BUY CONSUME MORE ITS CHRISTMAS YOU’LL BUY MORE IF IT’S CHRISTMAS BUY IT”

I can’t imagine being a retail employee now. I did it for 5 years but at least Christmas started on Black Friday then. Now you have minimum 2 months of listening to that music. I’ll always loathe that Zoey deschanel Christmas album.
I was seeing Christmas stuff up in store at the start of October! No Christmas music yet but that music carries over well into January usually now. It’s the worst time of the year to work any service or retail job.
