Superior Court Justice Charles Hackland found King guilty on five counts in November, including mischief and disobeying a court order.

Updated …

‘Freedom Convoy’ organizer Pat King was sentenced to three months of house arrest in an Ottawa court this morning.

The sentence includes 100 hours of community service at a food bank or men’s shelter.

It comes on top of nine months he spent in custody both before and during his trial.

King was found guilty on five of nine charges in November, including mischief and disobeying a court order, for his role in the 2022 protest that took over downtown Ottawa for three weeks.

    Am I the only one who remembers their Memorandum of Understanding to overthrow the months old elected government?

    3 months house arrest…

    Edit: here it is https://archive.org/details/convoymou2022

    SCGGC will represent itself as The Government of Canada as a whole and not party related.

    In this case the parties are “THE PEOPLE OF CANADA” , the “SENATE OF CANADA”, and “THE GOVERNOR GENERAL OF CANADA” , the highest authorities representing the Federal Government. The matter to be discussed and agreed upon is this; The Senate of Canada and the Governor General, combined referred to as the Federal Government are to uphold and enforce all Canadian and International Human Rights Laws that are clearly laid out in the MOU or “RESIGN their lawful positions of authority Immediately”

    Treason

    (2) Every one commits treason who, in Canada,

    (a) uses force or violence for the purpose of overthrowing the government of Canada or a province;

      Reminder that the same MOU also insisted that Trudeau makes it illegal for any province to require vaccinations for any reason, while the base presenting it is simultaneously calling him a dictator and claiming he’s been over reaching with his authority.

      I’m torn, tbh. They seem genuinely stupid enough to convince me that they don’t understand the hypocrisy, but they’re also malicious enough for me to believe that they’re playing stupid. It’s schrodingers fascist; they could be though of as simultaneously stupid and cruel until they get enough power to actually act and be properly defined.

    Fucking good. I’ve met Pat King before. He is a dangerous moron who needs to be in prison for the benefit of society at large, no matter what side of the political spectrum you land on. Glen Carrot was also my soccer coach when I was a kid. He was a lot less unhinged growing up.

    I would bet you a billion billion dollars that this fuckstain, who flew Canadian flags from his big truck, got a whatever he can muster for a hard on when Trump teased annexing Canada. I don’t believe, and never have, that he stood for any freedom I or anyone I love cares about.
