I’ve lost a lot of trust in American quality anyways.
The good stuff is great, but the median is product feels like it’s declined.
Lets be real here:
The tariffs against Canada are likely not going to happen. At least not until after October.
Trump and Musk are going to make threats, perhaps target isolated industries to scare Canadians, but this is solely designed to scare Canadians into voting for Pierre Pussyface.
As Americans, do any of us even know if it possible to enter a software against a commonwealth nation without entering war with them all?
Possibly, but I think now’s the time for them to strike while the irons hot.
We’re sitting here with a weak leader whose party is looking at an overwhelming loss. I think they could just flog Trudeau until the election so whenever wins feels more desperate to stem the bleeding.
With Trump and Musk you can never take them at their word.
Well won’t the American products cost way more?
Why would they? Trump’s tariff would affect Canadian products being sold in the US. So Americans would have to pay more for Canadian goods with the extra money going to the US government.
The only way American products would cost more is if there’s a retalitory tariff.
We’re doing retaliatory tariffs I thought.
That said, anything that is partially made in China, and assembled or processed in the US is also going to cost more for Canadians.
