I recently noticed that when cross-posting a topic to another community it looks like the text was written by the cross-poster, while in fact it is only a quote from the original poster.

Edit: and somehow adding quote “>” manually to it (while showing fine in the preview) doesn’t work :(

Hrm… ya that’s a good point. Or maybe the body shouldn’t even be copied, and it should just be replaced with the old post url? Open up an issue in lemmy-ui if you would.
