Most of my posts are political because 90% of posts on lemmy are political. That’s like asking why most of your purchases are cheeses at the cheese shop 😂
In fact if you take a look at my profile I’d argue it’s far from being most of my posts (I’m not even subscribed to a single political community). I even moderate multiple communities not a single one of which is political.
Probably, if there isn’t a good one yet. I’m planning on forking lemmy and an instance with some patches - like removing the childish “slur filter” and other awful design decisions that by the looks of it are not going to be addressed ever.
I’m not very fond of current administration which seems very socially inept which is kinda ironic for a social network project. I’d kinda prefer more community focused, apolitical and friendlier community which hopefully will happen with federation support if it’s ever implemented.

At risk of getting banned I really don’t like Lemmy’s pushing of communism from the comfort of their 1st world capitalistic countries. I feel that it’s good to discuss it and have the idea around but as a Lithuanian who had a lot of my ancestors straight up tortured, murdered and sent to Siberia by monsters that were Soviets, a communist is much worse than any nazi ever was relative to my experience. So in a way I completely agree with Panzerfaust’s message here.
I really don’t understand why every reddit clone has to be spear headed by blind extremists, I feel that the mods got a bit power-trippy with the recent success of Lemmy and I’m afraid this will be the end of Lemmy as it was with thousand other reddit clones.

While there’s value in conservative thought most people who subscribe to it don’t know how to exercise it.
No that’s not what it means. For example if country services France it has to obey French laws, the “incorporated location” is completely irrelevant for anything but taxing. Same way if you serve mutli-cultural user base you shouldn’t be forcing everyone to follow single country’s culture.

Fun fact: green and blue are strongly related colors, to the point where some cultures and languages use the same word for both.
The most famous example is probably Japanese language that only adopted word for color green rather recently. Before that both green and blue shared the same word (though often suffixed with specifier like blue/green of sky or blue/green of trees).
