Honestly, I’d already be pretty embarrassed if I was a police officer and told to go to people’s homes because they were rude on social media. This would just be the cherry on top.

I (white guy) had the nickname “Chin Ho” back in school. Chin Ho was a Chinese character on the original Hawaii 5-0 TV series, but I was called that because I had a massive underbite (when I closed my jaws together there was about a half-inch gap between my lower and upper front teeth). I couldn’t even be mad at the nick.

Maybe I fail at reading, but I can’t see OP’s mention of “the Y-word”. The word though is “Yid” which is an epithet for Jewish people. Which is the only type of racism the British government cares to give the appearance of taking seriously.

The post and the comment at the bottom of the picture are both by the same person. The picture doesnt include the comment the OP was responding to, so dont worry what the Y word is as its not important. OPs comment at the bottom was included because they didnt give context on what the username was from just their post.

Fun fact, Tottenham Hotspur F.C. supporters call themselves “Yid Army” (due to historic reasons). A fan from another team got yelled at (in a friendly manner), so he responded “Yid Armyyy” in a faux-threatened response.

Yeah, he got arrested. I fucking wish I was kidding.

Dear UK - why are you like this? Please stop it. I don’t want authoritarians as neighbours, thanks.

Fuck man, if I had to explain each of my usernames I’ve had over the years to a judge I’d rather just go to prison.

I haven’t had a gamertag since the og xbox days, and i remember there was a name generator that was just like “random verb random noun number” so mine was something like BouncingAlligator45 (not my real tag, just an example)

Yeah, and one of those times it told me I had to change my gamer tag, I was off doing something else and my friend had booted it up. It gave you a couple generated like that or the option to choose your own. So for the last year or so I had it, my tag was “floweryhippie something something” I hated him so much for that shit. Pretty sure that dude is homeless now tho. Fucking deserves it. Lol I’m JK about that last part.

I see the UK is keeping up their racism. If he were white, he’d be chucked into jail. Meanwhile, everyone supposedly can just become English (as if the English aren’t a specific ethnicity, like the Chinese, Japanese, Somalian, etc).

Yes, yes, you can become an “English” citizen, but a dog being born in a stable doesn’t make it a horse.

And no, you don’t have be some kind of White, Pure, Ubermensch, or some nonsense. Just have one or two English patterns. Not that hard or complex.

Alright tommy. There is an issue with police being used for policing speech but the law requires the police to investigate even if it’s completely ridiculous. Seems to be a ham fisted approach to the issue of hate speech.

What do you mean “English” citizen. You (the UK) where keen to make all people part of the UK so there is no Welsh Scottish or Northern Irish citizens. The UK doesn’t have birth rite citizenship but if your grandad came over 50 years ago and you have never been in his country and you don’t speak “foreign” I don’t know what to call you except english.

English is not a race. If you have an issue with black and brown people in your neighborhood then you need to look at the history of white English people going and taking resources and people from where they where and placing them elsewhere.

In the UK the police nominally have the discretion to not enforce the law when it’s not in the public interest, so if they genuinely think a case is completely ridiculous, they’re free to ignore it. At some point in the story, someone decided it was in the public interest to go after someone for their username.
