Having been #1 nearly my entire life… Everything makes so much more sense now.
Mine is “food is one of the only things giving me the good brain chemicals snarf snarf SNARF oh no my weight!”
For me there’s also, “Wake up late on a Saturday, eat a half pound of chocolate, and go immediately back to sleep.” That was when I didn’t take my pills on weekends though.

I’m #2 more often than not… Which leads into 3.
I’m #1 more often than not, which also leads into #3, but it’s either cheese or peanut butter at that point. I’ve learned my lesson mixing the two. Don’t mix the two, unless you have a lot of crackers or bread to pair with them.
Also “I am so caught up in my current project that I can’t be bothered to stop and eat something. Maybe later…”

Wow this is the exact opposite of my experience. Also my mom just got officially diagnosed adhd and the whole reason she wanted to get seen was for food addiction. I guess it’s all about extremes.
Cheese is our preferred ADHD snack.

Never been diagnosed but I’ve eaten like this my whole life really… one of many symptoms it seems.
