I actually liked Indiana Jones 5, way more then the 4th. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is great.
Indy 5 felt like an Indy film, which was really nice. My only 2 notes for them to work on would be 1) more practical effects, avoid CGI except for the “supernatural” scene and 2) I appreciate they used the practical effects of speeding up playback for the tuk tuk chase, but it felt too sped up, almost campy.
Overall though, after seeing 4 in a midnight showing and it being the movie that caused me to never go to another midnight showing, 5 was excellent!
The voice acting in The Great Circle was great. It definitely sounded like Indiana Jones even if it didn’t always sound exactly like Harrison Ford all the time.
There’s an Indiana Jones 5?
Yep, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
I knew there was a game but not a movie
Is this a joke?
It was a $300M movie with a marketing campaign to match. It was unavoidable for nearly two months.I do not allow ads in my life, so I pretty much only hear about films through word of mouth. Didn’t hear a peep about it until now
I think you forget not everyone lives in the same place and under the same marketing that you do.
“Ethnocentrism”, I believe it’s called.
I live in Southeast Asia and had no idea there was an Indiana Jones 5. But I don’t pay attention to any celebrity news or go to the theater much. Don’t watch TV much and have ad blockers installed on all my systems. But I did watch all the original Indiana Jones movies so might look this one up.
Dude is unaware Troy Baker stole his soul
It wasn’t bad actually.
