Canadaland had an interesting take on it. Apparently the union PR wasn’t saying anything interesting or providing decent background. Since there are virtually no labour reporters anymore, the coverage is by people who don’t know the issues or context, who used the better PR from the corporation (I’m extrapolating this bit).
