Yeah, I was hoping for something more integrated.
I assume there are other read it later services. It’s too bad he doesn’t talk about integrating with something like that.

From what I’ve seen, existing watch features remain, but new coaching features may be AI enabled (and paywalled).
I don’t like add-on coaching services whether they’re offered by Fitbit or Garmin, so it isn’t really relevant to me. For folks who bought the watch for the device, rather than add-on services, I don’t believe this is relevant. For people who bought the device for coaching services, I guess they’re angry there’s a new tier?

sbv@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Anyone actually say during an interview that the reason they want the job was because they need money?English52·2 days agoIf the most creative thing they can think of to answer that question is “Money” then their critical thinking skills are pretty much zero,
Yes. If the candidate thinks acting out a post they saw on Reddit adds something to the interview, they’re probably gonna make poor choices as an employee.

They remind you that you’re eating food made on an assembly line at the lowest possible cost. But maybe that’s just my point of view.

Explain the kind of stuff that can happen in Paranoia, and ask them if they’re down for those shenanigans. Ask them what kind of stuff they don’t want to do - maybe someone really hates paperwork, so that would ruin their fun, but they’re cool with everything else.
This kind of pre-game agreement is called Session Zero. Searching for it should give you some ideas on how to prepare for it.

The version I present nowadays usually is better socially adapted and better able to integrate itself into a conversation
That seems positive. But it’s your call.
For me, “conforming” means listening, considering my audience, controlling interjections, and asking people about stuff. I don’t feel like I’m denying myself, I feel like I’m being more considerate.
I can see how other kinds of conformance could be awful. Denying one’s sexuality or something like that.
Lemmy is a federated system and these stats are self-reported by user maintained systems. Rather than a sudden influx of users (bots or otherwise), a misconfigured system or hiccup in stats collection seems more likely.
