    I wonder if this has a similar effect on older intel HW… would probably help with Vulkan using emulators.

      Probably yes. Vulkan is everywhere now. For example I use a lot of Gamescope to play (upscale) older games and it uses Vulkan.

        Not on IvyBridge hardware as well as other.

        I think that poVoq implied support for this and similar hardware using conversion layers.

          I was thinking about console emulators like ppsspp and dolphin, but yes DXVK might also benefit.
