  • Right. Fair enough. But ground news aggregates all the others the shows you the speciality, bias, and view that readers get.

It helps me when talking with people and reading my own news to have a viewpoint that’s outside of the individual article.

The problem reality is that most people read the major news sources, Canada.com, National Post, Toronto Sun, Calgary Herald, Ottawa citizen etc. everyone would assume these are Canadian media outlets when they’re not.

The other thing with it is that it lets me see how other countries are viewing the news in other nations, such as in the Hindu times when Carney won the Prime Minister position.

There are things that we as Canadians jacked into our own media that we just don’t see.

I understand where you’re coming from, but for me the site opens up a whole new access to information that I never had before.

  • I use it. It’s a great way to see the way different articles are geared towards the readers.

Look at a headline, then look at the different outlets covering it. For me, a Canadian, it’s important during elections so I can cut out all the US owned newspapers that have a very conservative / US bias to them.

It’s really one of the best subs that I’ve paid for in the past few years. Well worth it in my opinion.
