Futurama:
<TV turns off>
Leela: Look I know there are no car chases but this is important. One of these two men will be president of the world
Fry: What do we care? We live in the United States
Leela: The United States is part of the world
Fry: Wow, I have been gone a long time

“you get a sense of pride and accomplishment”
I’m partially joking but it it can be satisfying to figuring out and executing the series of patterns in good timing.
The thing is thinking that you’re so cool for it :P … I never see an issue with someone enjoying the game for the story or whatever else.

That was a brutal watch seeing her near the end …
Some say you don’t need it, but I personally use this plugin: https://github.com/jeffreytse/zsh-vi-mode
but I also use this: https://github.com/zdharma-continuum/fast-syntax-highlighting for syntax highlighting and it makes it more readable too.
I’ve always liked vim but one thing that I really loved about it was when I started using vim mode in zsh.
Being able to just navigate through commands in my terminal and easily highlight and edit and all that … it’s so good.
Impossible, all the podcaster chuds were saying how comedy is legal now that Trump and Musk took charge! /s
I like him so far.
I always worry that the left are gonna jump on him the second he does something they don’t like and then spew out a bunch of stuff about how he was never any good.

I really liked Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto and enjoyed the first two movies. The first one far more than the second though.
The second had what I felt were unnecessary linked to their prequels and it’s also what the worst parts of Craig’s Bond and Solo were as well.
I don’t think they embodied the spirit of Star Trek though, but I was hoping they could have worked those out over time, but it seems not so much.

I’m scared to hell of fixing it, but you’re probably right. It’s better to lose my phone to repairs than lose my data to a random individual!

Oh, the last one I took to the shop was my Pixel 7 with water damage. I traded it for a Pixel 10 now.

Yeah :/ my password manager and everything is accessible! I have no defenses!
The thing is my phone is already in a dire state by the time they get it. I can’t pre-emptively wipe my phone :(

Also, how come they need to unlock the phone to replace the battery … like, I guess they’re running diagnostics?
But like, can do that without getting access to bloody everything on my phone?

They can’t afford to pay so many mods! You’re crazy! /s
Now, if you’ll excuse him … he’s buying a new yacht.
They have to listen to crazy stuff that goes unchallenged. I’ve also lived in the UK and if you read the Daily Mail you’ll see stories about people driving Ferraris and on welfare.
These bubbles can be really wild.
I work in tech and I was tired of Musk one day and said: “I don’t care where you’re politics lie, but I’m sick of hearing about him”.
Then my coworker said, “aren’t you sick of paying taxes?”
I’m said, “I’m a progressive, you’re talking to the wrong guy”
He then said, “there are people who don’t work at all that get more money from the government than what we earn, why should they get money?”
Urgh, then we had a bit of back and forth. I doubt any of these poor people are getting money that’s equivalent to our tech salaries but if anybody’s getting that amount of money from the government it’d be the rich. I also went into the fact that I don’t have kids and he did. So a lot of my money is funding his kids too, but yeah …
If M Night Shyamalan directed this, it would be a Superman reveal at the end with a cheesy one-liner.
“why won’t you die?” “because I believe in truth, justice and the American way”

At least they can keep those pesky brain surgeons in check though:
