After casting her vote for Donald Trump in 2024 in hopes that he would bring transparency around the Jeffrey Epstein case, Epstein survivor Jena Lisa Jones said in an interview this week that she now fears “we’re not going to get justice in all of this”.

I seriously don’t fucking get this people. Everybody with a brain cell count higher than 2 said : Trump is in cahoots with Epstein. Now they vote for him, reality smack their butts and I should have empathy for them ? You literally vote for your rapist !

Most people just aren’t interested in politics.

“Trump ran his whole freakin’ election on the release of these freakin’ files,” she said. “And it sparked it back all up again, gave us hope, gave me hope at least.

Even this statement is completely false.

This person somehow convinced themselves that this was a key policy of Trumps when it was barely a footnote.

      Fuck that.

She’s not some smug hypocrite getting her comeuppance - if anyone gets a pass for believing those files might finally come out, it’s her.

Why would she get a pass for believe someone who was well known to be in the Epstein files and is a known con artist? She might not be a hypocrite, but she’s for sure fucking stupid. And honestly, whether she votes that way from profound idiocy or actual malice, it doesn’t matter. She helped fuck us all. And fuck her for that.

Good point, she is very stupid. I can’t imagine much else was happening to distract her during her formative years developing critical thinking, it’s probably just hard wired.

Still, the important thing is that she’s suffering for it now.

What do you mean no? I agreed, she’s very stupid. That’s probably why she fell for such an obvious trafficking scam in the first place.

No, the important thing is not that she’s suffering.

At this point I absolutely do not fault people for a little schadenfreude too. And sometimes it takes strife and personal pain to finally learn something.

But I don’t think almost anyone here thinks her suffering is the most important thing.

Then I’ve misunderstood leopards eating faces. I thought its entire purpose was schadenfreude - i.e. taking pleasure in her suffering.

Trump’s platform was laid out plainly leading up to the election. He was already heavily implicated to being involved with Epstein. Either she’s a complete idiot that is so out of touch that it’s unfathomable, or she knew who Trump is and what he’s about and decided that the damage he would do to other demographics was acceptable, making her a hypocrite. The idea that Trump was actually going to release the Epstein files and somehow bring justice takes a whole level of stupid to believe.

Let me be clear, she was a victim and deserves justice.

Also he was BFFs with Trump, why the ever loving fuck would you expect him to seek justice?!

Believe it or not, there were actually several notable “Jews for Hitler” types of movements in Germany. They were conservative Jews who supported Hitler’s conservative views more than they feared his antisemitism. They hand-waved away the antisemitism, believing that it was over-exaggerated to garner votes.

People are dumb, and many will naturally want to believe that persecution is something that happens to immoral people. If someone is being persecuted, it’s obviously because they did something to deserve it. It can’t happen to me, because I am moral and have done nothing to deserve it! Because if I accept that persecution can happen to moral people, then that would conflict with my established worldview that the world is inherently just. I am successful, and therefore I am just. And unjust things don’t happen to just people. Because accepting that the world is unjust means accepting that things like disasters, disabilities, diseases, and systemic persecution could happen to me. And that is scary, so I choose to reject that possibility and insist that the world is inherently just!

Mussolini had early supporters who were Jewish, it makes me chuckle, but it’s really irrelevent. Fascism isn’t inherently antisemitic, the kernel of fascism is anticommunism

Regardless, the zionists getting getting into bed with the nazis is such a no brainer. As the saying goes: a Zionist is an antisemite who loves Jews.

Hitler was a Zionist, a lot of Jews supported that

They deported a lot of Jews to what is now Israel
