Seems like what would happen if there was a comments lifestyle brand. Must be a symptom of the terminally online. Especially them expecting adult interactions (according to their profile) but then acting like an entitled child when people question what their damage is. 🙄

Or you are just forcing a standard that no one outside a small group uses? It’s all coming across as rather unhinged to expect people outside of that community to recognize any of this.
It’s easy to get caught up in. I find value in some different tech or approaches, like trying planar magnetic or open vs closed. But most of that can be found at reasonable prices.
If people want accurate sound reproduction, a decent set of monitor style headphones are their best bet. My favorite headphones are my audio technica studio monitors. They weren’t expensive but they give great sound reproduction which is what I’m interested in.
All the super expensive stuff is a combination of specific tuning, fancy materials and tech, or an appealing design coupled with heavy marketing and fomo exploitation.
So for anyone looking for general advice from someone that was almost sucked into audiophile land…
Quality matters for sure, but not up to the level some audiophiles say. Biggest feature that someone getting into better audio would observe is open vs closed back. It changes the soundstage noticeably. After that, decide if you prefer flat tuning (accurate to original recording) or something different. I actually really enjoy bass boosted for certain EDM but I don’t like that for much else so I don’t own any bass boosted headphones anymore.
Fitment is a whole other topic. I’m just talking about over ear headphones here.
Good news is, since you aren’t breaking the bank, you can get a new pair if you don’t like what you get and decide something else suites you better.
Edit: good source quality matters too.

1·3 days agoIt’s autocorrect works great for me. I never used gboard because google saw enough as it was. But it’s a damn sight better than the Microsoft swyft which I used for awhile. I was constantly fighting the autocorrect on that.
With heliboard I had some initial issues, but it turned out that it was system level autocorrect fucking with me. Once I disabled that and just used heliboard’s it was (still is) excellent.

And they get real cranky if you bring up that they and their family haven’t been to the old country in like 3 generations at this point.

111·4 days agoI don’t think you have any idea how much reach Israel has in the US. How much of the US is actually controlled by Israeli interest groups. And how many Zionists live in america. Israel is nowhere near collapse. And US support is nowhere near gone.
I hate it and I wish I could personally gut every one of the tyrannical bastards involved. But I and many others that feel similarly are ultimately without power to change this. Protesting only works when those in power have a conscience. We need a violent uprising to effect any change in the US and that won’t happen. Not through lack of desire but through the inability to gather in appropriate numbers.
Edit:just saw in another comment that you are Israeli so maybe you have an insight that I don’t. But from a US perspective I just don’t see anything changing.
