We actually stopped getting our prescriptions at Shoppers because of this a couple years ago (in Alberta, this is a widespread issue). We now use an independent pharmacy which is a better experience anyway since you have a more personal relationship with the pharmacist. I recommend everyone find an independent pharmacist in their area and shove it to Loblaw
We had one billing our insurance plan for medicine we didn’t order or pickup.
My kid had stopped using that pharmacy when they moved cities, they medicine was dispenced every few months.
But rather than call and say do you need a refill, they dispensed it and charged it to the account on file.
