Organize, most obviously via unions and mutual aid networks. Lefties have a lot to say about how to fight back against capitalism; it’s just that nobody listens to them.
Uh… They did work, unless you think labor laws and standards are the same as they were in the late 19th century. Then the workers of America stopped organizing so obviously it stopped working.
Interesting because I watched the American government in my time completely ignore every protest ever.
Black and brown people are targeted more than ever, queer people are immensely unsafe currently, labor laws are sliding backwards with children dying in meat factories and guns are still killing kids.
What did we accomplish exactly? Not much in over a century
When is the last time you went on strike for political reasons? Never? Well go change that and then complain. The people who did change things took on more personal risk than all acts of resistance Americans have done since Reagan combined. Look up the battle of blair mountain. Marches are, frankly, pussy shit that are only relevant if you want to meet people to organize for real resistance.
I’m taking issue with your passive tone, as if things just naturally changed all by themselves. There is one specific group directly responsible and we should name them.
It’s a good anawer but too vague. What he means is that you need to start discerning between the shit that they want you to believe that will make you rich for example work 3 jobs, invest in stocks, crypto. And start doing things that are really in you best interests like learn to cook linstead of buying always from takeover, learn a trade (I’m trying to learn to sew myself), get a good phone that last you years instead of a shit hyped one, install linux, stop chasing trends and fast fashion etc… Yeah it looks like that new type commie feminist hipster life but it’s happening for a reason is people trying to unplug the lifewire of predatory capitalism that drives you crazy and depressed.
If you’re looking for a revolution you’ll probably be disappointed friend. We’re more likely to see change in the world by interacting with our own community. Be there for our neighbors, even if it’s just to shoot the shit.
Mutual aid and all that hippy shit is what’s unironically gonna change things. My take is just not to take it too seriously and just be a good person.
wtf you want me to do about it honestly?

The actual truth is they don’t work. If they did, they would’ve.

You mean unions? Because they did work, extremely well, for a long time.
they still work in many parts of the world
And why don’t they now?
Because the field changed.
Imagine if you continued to fight with a sword because it worked once. It is different now, there are guns.
No, they don’t work because they were systematically dismantled by Republicans for a generation.
That’s literally what I’m saying.
I’m taking issue with your passive tone, as if things just naturally changed all by themselves. There is one specific group directly responsible and we should name them.
-Louis XIV on the nature of republics.
Do what’s in our best interest, not theirs.
Thanks for the not-an-answer.

Thanks for the better-than-the-other-guys-answer.
Anytime.
If the actions you’re engaging in result in a gain for the capital class, stop doin’ it. Stop enriching the capital class. Stahp it!
A couple examples like: working for lower wages, allowing them to collect and share your data, engaging in needless consumerism, blah blah blah.
The point is, they are few and they are united in their shared interests. It’s time we, as the many, do the same.
So when are “the many” getting together for the revolution, seems overdueat this point.
If you’re looking for a revolution you’ll probably be disappointed friend. We’re more likely to see change in the world by interacting with our own community. Be there for our neighbors, even if it’s just to shoot the shit.

Youre like two steps short of where we are now.
Just stop believing that “you are a capitalist”, of course.
The rest will come from inside your mind
