I could see this shake out where trump “prosecutes” him for fraud and taking 100s of millions or even billion plus from Musk to be used for bullshit like laundered thru contracts or used as “aid” to a country that cuts trump some on the backend.
Like, we joke about “president Musk” these days, but Putin and others have much bigger claws in trump.
Next week Musk will be sending out, “Find out which Harry Potter character you are. Just answer a few questions about your work.”

I’m a contractor, this guy literally has zero say over my work. And if the contract I’m on suddenly stopped, a bunch of really important satellites would end up lost lost in space. Point is, Elon can suck an egg.
Looking forward to the inevitable news story about DOGE frantically trying to rehire contractors to find missing satellites that they didn’t realize were important. I hope they have to give everyone a raise.

I don’t have any kind of account on cbsnews.com, but don’t see a paywall when I click on this link. I think that’s about the limit of the due diligence I’m willing to do–if it loads fine for me without an account I’m going to assume it’ll work for other people.
