Very true. When I was living there, and this is 13 years ago, it was a huge thing. Shame.
It used to be until Restaurant Brands International bought it out and stopped making donuts in-store, changed their coffee brands, and started importing foreign workers (paying them less than minimum wage).
It’s not Canadian anymore.
In BC, look for BuyBC. The province has been pretty on top of a labelling/awareness campaign long before Trump found the word tariffs in his colouring book.
I think veggies and fruits in Ontario have their mark. Though at this time of year there’s less in-season domestically outside of greenhouse-grown food.
I was told that my local grocery store (in BC) will also be labelling all Canadian products as well.

Local first, Canadian next, anyone else last, American never.
I’m not sure, I feel like Canada should be strengthening trade relationships with other countries.
