the U.S. under Trump is “less interested in interfering with the affairs of other countries.”
Canada, Panama, Greenland, Gaza and Denmark call bullshit.
Baton Rouge -> Red Stick
(I honestly believe there’s an insecurity motive there
Once you have more money than you could reasonably spend in a lifetime, it just becomes another penis measuring contest for insecure manchildren.
And that uncertainty will be causing customers to delay orders or find other suppliers until thw chaos subsides.
The fact remains that the eligible voters could have voted if they chose to.
And, instead, they sat out and allowed the current bullshit situation to happen.
Getting registered is not a difficult task.
They chose not to.
If we sell something to the US, and it gets a tariff applied after the sale but before delivery, it’s the receiver that has to pay the tariff,
And those potential buyers don’t want to risk that uncertainty.
Would you agree to buy something without knowing if it might randomly cost you 25% more than the agreed price?
one company makes EV busses and RVs, but all the rest of the Canadian vehicle companies make either EV conversion kits, high end sports cars(EV and ICE) or armoured vehicles.
There’s also a startup in BC that’s making EV commercial trucks.
We can pay for it out of the counter-tariffs.
I volunteer for a seniors activity at my local community center and almost all of them have said they usually go to Arizona or Florida for a month or 2 in the winter, but they’re not doing it this year ( or in the future unless the situation signifigantly improves)
And their attendance at our activities compared to previous years shows that is true. We’re usually full in the Sept-Dec session, and about 60% full for Jan-April session. This year both sessions were full (with a wait list).

The loss of privacy of a camera that records every face that enters your home and timestamps that data…
it’s a camera pointed at a public street.
It’s a camera pointed at every person who comes to your house.
It’s an OK app, but it has some limitations.
It looks at the company portion of the bar code, not the individual product.
I scanned some Kirkland products that are actually made in Canada (toilet paper, oat milk), and it simply identified that Costco is an American company.
Similarly, I scanned some made in USA but imported and rebranded by a Canadian importer spices and they show up as “this is Canadian”
I’m in Canada, and Google maps shows me the same as what you are seeing.
They got half of the people who cast a ballot.
But almost half of the eligible voters didn’t vote at all
Edit: correction, almost 1/3 of eligible voters didn’t vote Source
assuming your riding isn’t split,
That’s a very important caveat.
When you’re voting ABC strategically you have to be aware of the electability of each of the candidates in your riding.
A quarter of the country wants them in power.
Another (almost) half didn’t give enough fucks to even notice.
Don’t be picking on our new museum.
She’s nice when you get to know her.
