If the Fed Libs want my vote back, they’ll have to make good on their promise of electoral reform with the help of the NDP or Bloc before a confidence vote.

The Liberals will never, ever do it. It would be probably impossible to do before October, and frankly, unhinged to try to get it done before then, even if only from a logistical standpoint.

The fact that JT spent a decade not doing it, is forever a black mark on the Liberal party, imo. And in choosing to not do it, in effect, the Liberals salted the earth on the topic of electoral reform. Anyone who promises it now is going to get laughed out of the room.

Electoral reform is a symbol of the Liberal carrot and stick politics of the past decade.

That would be nice, but quite frankly, for my vote, they just have to be more competent seeming than Pierre or Singh.

At the end of the day, on election day, you don’t get to choose the policies that people are running on, you just get to choose who you want most to lead of the available options (unless you decide to run for office, then you get to choose what policies you want to run on and see if people agree).
