This is one of those comedy grey areas.

Like, I get the joke. I like the joke. But this is still likely a photo of a real person that probably never intended to be a throwaway meme.

I voted neither for or against this post.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

It made me even more uneasy, that he’s not looking friendly at all at the photographer. This makes me think, that is not a loved one of his taking this pic and it somehow made its way here. I hope this isn’t a “straight to the Internet” picture taken without his consent.

His face has “how dare you mf” all written over it.

Yeah, like… This was absolutely me as a kid, I just imagined my fully grown dad but child-size, so I want to laugh…

But I can’t laugh when it’s just a photo that’s essentially going “HAHA LOOK AT THIS ABNORMAL PERSON, LET ME BRING FOCUS TO THE ABNORMAL THING HAHA!”

      It feels gross.

So I approve of the joke, just not the accompanying image.

I initially voted for the haha… Then read your comment and downvoted. Thanks for the alternate perspective.

  • Funniest thing involving a little person I’ve seen in real life was the time I was leaving a store, passed by a little person who was smoking, and before I got too far away I just hear a woman yell “what do you think you’re doing young man?!” Turn around to see this elderly lady approaching the little person turn him around and almost snatch the cigarette out of his mouth when she realized he wasn’t a child and a look of “oh shit wtf have I done” spread across her face as she starts to apologize.
