I don’t think that Trump is anti-LGBTQ+. For that, he would need to have some kind of principles.
Fact is, all he cares about is what other people can do for him, and how much they massage his prostate with their tongues.
Likewise, he will screw over out heterosexual white male just as soon as he will screw over anyone else.
I love seeing reality make peoples’ heads spin haha
“Trump hates gay people”
Trump hires a gay person
“Oh my what on earth is happening here”
The fact that he’s a billionaire is more important than anything else. Same reason Thiel funds conservatives, he’s rich enough that any anti-gay lgbtq stuff doesn’t actually have any effect on him. Same reason Rogan and Musk could smoke weed in Texas on video and not face any charges. It’s just wealth solidarity trumping any supposed “family values” or “war on drugs” as per usual. Lindsey Graham being gay is like Washington’s worst kept secret and yet he represents one of the most bigoted states on the side of bigotry for over 20 years.
I don’t see any spinning heads. Obviously the person has other terrible qualities that Trump likes more than he hates gays.
He has hired black people and Trump hates black people. He still thinks the Central Park 5 are guilty despite the actual perpetrator being found and the five being exonerated.
Fair enough, maybe the TDS sufferers aren’t exactly “spinning” per se. It’s just funny to see people with a set narrative add conditions to that narrative once they notice it comes in conflict with reality.
“Trump hates gays” becomes “Trump hates gays unless they’re bad people” once Trump hires a gay person, for example.
White people would pay to see black performers in the 50s, but wouldn’t let them use the same water fountains or building entrances.
You can be a bigoted prick while still employing people you’re bigoted against.
Donald Sterling, the racist former NBA team owner is a recent example
I feel like your analogy doesn’t quite map even if you’re making a good point here
Looks like you are projecting your spinning head onto others.
How does telling yourself that make you feel?
