I would have provided a guide if I had followed one, but I learned how to use Handbrake using trial and error.
Google is easy enough to use that, generally speaking, if you know what software you want to use, you can probably find a guide on how to use it.
It’s not really for me, but I must say, it aged phenomenally and I think is the only example of the MCU nailing the TV genre perfectly. I could definitely see this as something that first aired on Freeform (that’s a compliment) and it’s the first of all the shows they made that I’ve rewatched, despite it not quite being my favorite of the bunch.
I love this idea. I think for now the closest thing to this would be creating a Lemmy community or a subreddit, restricting it to only yourself and posting the articles you want to share there. That would make an RSS feed that includes whatever articles you want.
Because Google isn’t down.
Ahhhhh my apologies. Then the ffmpeg guide someone else mentioned in the comments section should suffice.
I feel like there are like a billion guides on how to transcode with Handbrake.
Haha that placeholder URL though
It’s certainly a weakness, especially since the Lemmy echo chamber is ever more extremist than the echo chambers you’d find on a place like Reddit or Truth Social. But I don’t think it makes it uniquely bad. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
Does Friendica work as a Lemmy frontend?
I have always used APKMirror and APKPure
I completely agree.
You’re surprised? Being out of touch is kind of the job of the mainstream media.
There was a segment on the Blaze Radio Network doing the same thing. Ignorance is bipartisan.
This type of “content” is so boring to be honest. It’s especially annoying when you look at a post on X about something interesting and then half of the replies are just spam from OF models.
I don’t think that’s likely to happen, I’d expect either an over correction in the other direction or something straightforward and boring in the worst case scenarios
To me, “bad TV” is a show with any combination of bad acting or bad writing, TBH. I also tend to avoid shows that haven’t completed their runs, because a lot of shows get cancelled before they get a chance to conclude properly. I honestly just check the IMDb rating and the trailer and if the rating is above 7.0 or so then it’s probably not bad. Unless the fanbase is huge, sometimes the score is inflated.
Sometimes I will find shows by looking at which programs got Emmys over the past few years but that’s not the most efficient way to find new shows IMHO
Same
I guess I didn’t come off how I intended to. Oops.
