It’s pretty much expected that they are preparing. It would be naive not to.

Germany? they dont even have ammo, only for two days. Due to lack of investment in the military (1.5% of the state budget) they only have old and deficient weapons and equipment. Until now, the German arms industry has only manufactured for export but not for the Bundeswehr itself. If they invade Russia the Russians will die by laughing.

It’s not really a lack of investment. We just have no idea where all the money went. I mean, we do, but we’re afraid to say it out loud.

NATO isn’t going to invade Russia. No one want to start a nuclear war. This is for defense of Germany and its allies.

Also, wonder how people are gonna feel about a huge increase in military spending when they’re freezing their asses off and the economy is tanking. You’d think they’d prioritize stabilizing the economy instead of sabre rattling.

I’m from Germany, and quite a lot of people are in an intense state of delusion. They still think this is all fine. However, there are also rising protests, but it’s hard to judge the numbers when the German media landscape has troubles with portraying reality in a neutral way.

The media has been very effective at keeping the narrative going so far, it will be interesting to see what the breaking point will be where most people start realizing that the narrative is divergent from reality. When that does happen, one important outcome from will be that trust in the media will be completely destroyed going forward.

If it becomes clear that the media created a false narrative that it’s been peddling for the past nine months about such a monumental issue, it surely calls into question the quality of reporting on any other issue.

Of course, the well-being of the population itself is more important, but for this reason such news about warlike intentions by a country that lacks the means to do so is absurd, no matter how much Mordor USA demands it from its subordinated NATO allied.

Germany? they dont even have ammo, only for two days.

Surprise, they fire NATO ammunition. US would deliver for sure.

have old and deficient weapons and equipment.

Espacially compared to russias soviet-time euipment, right.

Until now, the German arms industry has only manufactured for export but not for the Bundeswehr itself.

      Well, that escalated quickly.

If they invade Russia the Russians will die by laughing.

Right, after they died meaningless on Ukrain soil.

No, it’s true, Germany allowed the US to use the military bases for logistics. so its involved by one way or another.
