Trump and Vance are obviously monstrous pieces of shit, and helping Ukraine is pretty objectively correct both morally and strategically, but losing Taiwan, specifically TSMC would do a pretty incredible amount of damage, while losing Ukraine would empower Russia, but otherwise do fairly limited damage to US interests.
Definitely a Trumpian philosophy.
I think Ukraine is more vital to the US because it’s funny as shit watching Russian soldiers get turned inside out.
And it’s a major source of global wheat production.
And there are tons of important minerals there (main story).
Also, natural gas reserves are quite massive.
As soon as Ukraine has fallen: achtually, taiwan isn’t that important.
