North Korea has said it had found the remnants of a South Korean military drone and that any further “violation” of its territory would result in a “declaration of war.”

Tensions between the two sides of the peninsula have escalated since May when the North began flying balloons carrying garbage across the border to the South, prompting Seoul to respond by restarting loudspeaker propaganda broadcasts.

This week, North Korea accused South Korea of flying drones over Pyongyang on three occasions this month and threatened to respond with force if it happened again.

Do they not know they’re already at war? Can you declare double war or something?

Look, they’re out of missiles to shoot into the ocean and they blew up all the roads between them and the South. They’ve got to do something to get attention.

Look, everyone knows you blow up all the roads into your enemies territory, then you declare war and invade.

It adds a difficulty modifier to your XP bonus pool.

Technically I think North Korea is at war with the US, not South Korea. To declare war against South Korea would imply they believe there is a legitimate government to declare war against, whereas I believe they just view it as an American occupation.

Also wouldn’t be surprised if a standard DGI drone would be perceived as military grade compared to their equipment.

    • Right? The one started in 1950 ended with a ceasefire but there was never a treaty ending the hostilities.
I guess they mean ending the ceasefire and a return to active wartime hostilities but the way they say it is certainly funny.
