    Even without skin colour you can tell they depicted him as a Caucasian.

    Ah yes, what people missed from bible study is that Jesus’s gospel was only hated so much because he was an Aryan and the only white person within a hundred miles. /s

    What I find most ridiculous are the depictions of a skeletal and starving Jesus on the cross, as usually seen. It should not be forgotten that he was a carpenter, a hard job at that time, accustomed to carrying large weights and perhaps this representation fits more to the reality of his physique, than the usual portraits like asparagus.
