If they are waiting for the next tv season to release the remaster, that makes lots of business sense. build hype, build demand, then do a re-release.

If they use it for polish too then that’s fine by me. Just don’t repeat the mess of the Part 1 port.

Last time I tried it ran pretty well but I have put off a proper playthrough for the moment, so I can’t speak for potential issues down the line.

I don’t get it personally. After experiencing the story in the tv series, I lost interest in playing the games

I would say because it does not use it’s medium very well. It’s more like a playable movie, while videogames can be so much more than that.

This was exactly my first thought as well and I agree it is good business sense. I am in ok with console versions coming out first and getting the kinks out before PC.

Would it be great to do all at the same time? Yeah, but I would rather not deal with another CP2077-like release where it is out on everything and buggy on everything.

So it should launch as good as a modern game 7 months post launch. I’m not even going to think it will be a proper launch, but I’ll begrudgingly accept a minimum of the quality of a modern game 7 months after they’ve had time to fix issues at launch.

Makes sense. They want to make PS launch exclusives feel like exclusives as much as possible. The longer the delay the better (for them).
