Highlighting the place of her birth is pointless and almost an appeal to charity. She trained and practiced outside Canada and needs licensing here.
I agree, otherwise someone could go get some doctors licence in buttfuck nowhere after paying a bribe to someone then come back to Canada.
There should definitely be easier ways to make sure your degree is certified somehow if you got it abroad though. Not sure if people have difficulties transferring licences over from America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia, etc. but some countries definitely need some scrutiny.
The thing is, we can’t really play favourites lest they cry foul. It sadly needs to be the same system for all.
