Definitely shows where her priorities lie.
Was there seriously no other book that she cares for more which could be distributed? She definitely believes what in there and wants to spread it around.
I’ve never had any book where I wanted to buy over a dozen copies and give it away to friends and family. And I love books.
What are the ostriches for? Are they on a farm and sold as meat? If it’s a health issue sure let the ostriches live but ban the meat from being sold. Separate them from those that will be sold for meat.
Otherwise what would happen if a zoo had some rare bird catch avian flu? Would they be forced to kill all of the other rare birds in the zoo?
Pyrto London@feddit.uk•Lime bikes dumped in canals and rivers 'posing pollution risk'English3·1 day agoFine the scooter company for each one found.
They have GPS, they should be retrieving them when they are dumped like that.
Pyrto Toronto•Over 600,000 near-miss incidents with pedestrians, cyclists recorded at intersections across Canada3·2 days agoEvery intersection should just stay red every direction when someone hits the button to walk and then pedestrians be able to walk diagonally across as well. I don’t get why that isn’t standard.
Pyrto Toronto•Over 600,000 near-miss incidents with pedestrians, cyclists recorded at intersections across Canada3·2 days agoI had to go out and buy flashing headlamps and an LED dog harness because of all the times I’ve almost been hit by people taking a left turn and not looking before they do.
You would think a 6’ tall person in a bright orange jacket and a 130lb pure white dog would in an orange vest would be pretty easy to spot but apparently not.
Even with the lights i still had three people turn left into the interior lane while me and my dog were standing in the exterior lane trying to cross and waving my hands at them like wtf?
When the walk signal comes on there needs to be a red no-left turn light turn on somewhere because no one pays attention to pedestrians, just the lights.

Just trying out one seasons to see if it sticks is not the way to go.
Get a paintball gun with the paint balls filled with that permanent dye banks use for bank robbers.
They don’t invest, they take tax payer funded subsidies and then bill us for the pleasure.
Unless it’s for packages does anyone really need junk-mail delivery every day?
Most stuff has like a month for paying off statements and whatnot.

How bad will it be if there are 5-6 different companies with their own network floating around up there. And then other countries with their own network.
I had lower back pain for a while about 12 years ago when I was youngish.
Ignored it for like a week because I thought I just slept weird.
Then one day I asked someone to take me to the walk-in since it was getting worse.
It was a Sunday so they were all closed, but by that time I was starting to shake. Asked to go to the ER.
Once in the ER I’m sweating, shivering and shaking. Doctor takes one look at me and bumps me to the front of the line. Takes me in and immediately says I look like I’m going through septic shock. Puts me on IV antibiotics and morphine for the pain which was incredible at that point.
Apparently I had a UTI which led to a bladder infection and eventually worked its way up to my kidneys and then poisoned my blood. Another week of 1hr per day IV antibiotics pumping through me and I was okay.
If it weren’t Sunday I possibly could have died.
So yeah, probably go see a doctor.

Probably a way from Republicans to allow them to not treat gay Vets if they aren’t married to their partner or something.
Don’t put ICE plastered on the front just dress up in black with a helmet and face mask and vest. When there’s 1000 it’s close enough
Next protest literally everyone should dress up in the same outfit the ICE officers dress in. Who would they arrest?
Pyrto Satisfactory@lemmy.world•Satisfactory's biggest patch since launch makes it friendlier for Steam Deck players: 'It's no exaggeration to say this update includes more than a year's worth of work'1·6 days agoI just wish it were easy to start a new map without resetting your tech tiers.
I’m terrible with starting projects just to get a particular component any a particular time and then not putting in the time to design it perfectly from the start.
Then my map gets super messy.
But I just want to nuke it and rebuild without resetting my exploration/tech unlocks/progress etc
Thanks, this fixed it. It was the VPN.
