  • Yeah, also I don’t know if they are biologists/foresters but hopefully they use native or at least compatible seeds for the areas. There are lots of grass types which can become invasive and destroy habitat for the local wildlife if they use the wrong species.

Where I live we just use helicopters, and mostly only because it’s mountainous so we want to establish the grass back as quickly as possible before the rain hits and washes all the soil away into the rivers.

  • I mean, I kind of do as long as they can make it correct and there are jobs.

Canada needs more major cities. We keep expanding Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Montreal, etc. but why not expand smaller cities? Attract business there and then instead of five cities with 3 million people we can have 15 cities with 1 million people.

Gives people more choice on where to live if they want a populated area with services, allows for more eco friendly development and less land intensive building, etc.

Never really made sense to me, loose all the arrows at once and then give a break between volleys? Gives everyone a chance to hide behind their shield, and then advance when it’s clear. Unless volleys are perfectly timed between multiple rows of archers.

Random arrows flying constantly never gives the enemy a chance to feel safe since it’s a constant barrage, and there’s no wasted time for the archers needing to wait for the command to fire.

  • There are many species which bite humans, but you are right that it’s only the females which bite.

There are only a few species which don’t bite at all and are fully just straight up pollinators, but most species do bite something. Some are specialized and mostly feed on birds while others mostly feed on amphibians and reptiles, but most will bite pretty much anything that breathes. There are even some species which specialize in biting fish.
