Nordic countries are the biggest EV market right now. I have no clue why this imbecile tries to destroy his own business by offending Swedes.
successful social democracies scare the ever-loving shit out of the united states conservative rich. it proves they are evil, and their lies are as such.
its why conservative media shits on those countries non-stop.
Chef’s kiss 😎
He’s probably worried that if he gives in then US Tesla workers will unionise.
Didn’t the president of the UAW say Tesla workers were on his list to unionize?
That’s why the labor laws are “unconstitutional.”
Because he don’t know how strong unions stands in the Nordic countries. I’m really proud of my sweidish neighbors!
I’m not Swedish, but I’m proud of them, too!
I’m not Swedish either and I’m proud of that
You know why.
We all know why.
Hes a right wing fashy control freak that thinks the peasantry should just do as they are told, and too far up his own ass to ever consider the possibility of himself being wrong.
This is impressively accurate.
This is so spot on, it hurts. I can’t even see the target for the dart, and it read in my head as though it were just inner monologue.
I’m pretty sure China is the biggest EV market. There just simply aren’t enough people in Sweden.
The population of Sweden is 10M. A little bit more than the population of metro Chicago.
As a percentage of population, EV adoption is extremely high. But the ceiling for the EV market is nothing compared to China.
Not sure why you’re being downvoted. There are a LOT of Chinese EVs here. Volvo recently launched a new EV too that’s super popular.
There’s also Volkswagen and Polestar of course. That said you see a lot of BYD, MG, Lynk & Go here. I don’t keep track of all the brands, my roomie is more of a motor nerd, I’d ask him if he wasn’t sleeping.
In short though, the Chinese EVs tend to be really good deals.
You misunderstand their comment, they’re saying to sell EVs to China.
Ah, you’re absolutely right.
To be fair, I think it’ll be kind of tough to get a foothold on the Chinese market for the same reason. There’s a lot of really good Chinese EVs so why go with something from a foreign market when the local stuff will do just fine?
Aaaand that’s why they’re getting downvoted.
Volvo released a new EV besides Polestar (which as far as I’m aware is also tied to Volvo (and it’s parent Geely)?
Think we’re talking about the same car, the EX30?
I know that Polestar is their like, “fancy” brand, but when I say Volvo I generally mean Volvo and not Polestar. Just like how I keep Opel and Peugeot separate.
They seem to have 4 models at this point. Unfortunately, not one of them is a reasonably sized car. 3 SUVs and a Crossover.

Yeah it’s so depressing. No one makes small cars anymore, they’re all gigantic battleships.
Volvo to be fair has been making battleships for decades, like the V70 was like, the most popular car here for the longest time, and you still see Volvo battleships from the 70s rolling around here.
Nordic countries
Also
And from Norway
This fight isn’t limited to ONE country
Only a market for cheap vehicles (and a few expensive ones, but they need to be large, so that you can take your luxury back seat and have your driver in front). If there’s any country on the planet that really doesn’t need Tesla, it’s China.
It is just yet an other case of an American believing every other country reacts the same as the US.
Something something superiority complex.
Can’t pin this shithead on America, bud. Sorry to disappoint.
Well, it’s true that while he may not be a direct result of the American Dream Inc’s breeding division, he certainly aspires to the archetype in his behaviour, decision making paradigm, and career arc…
Oh no, I can.
He may not have been born there, but he definitely is a product of it’s unbridled capitalism.
Homes, he didn’t even come to America until ~19-20 years old, well after core personality is developed. He’s a product of South African apartheid wealth accumulation and a rich upbringing. Keep slinging your shit though, you do you.
