minus-squareKinetixlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·4 years agoAh, looks like the SmartHealthCard specification is federally mandated, at least according to the verbage used here: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/proof#privacy This part about businesses verifying out of province proof is interesting: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/proof/businesses#out-of-province There’s a whole PDF there, too, showing some provinces/territories have QR codes in their records, but no real indication whether they can be read with the BC record checking app: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/covid-19/immunization/immunization-record-examples/immunization_record_samples_canada.pdf
