With no place to spread their hate speech I worry that the Fediverse will become invested with these people. I’m not looking forward to the prospect of being confronted with their sad bs.

As far as I know such instances already exist, they get blocked by every instance that doesn’t tolerate hate speech.

Pretty much, some of the instances are whitelist only, so they block all instances and the administrator/users shop around for other instances to whitelist and contact the said instances to whitelist them also.

Yeah, this way the troll instances can create all of the instances they want, but they can’t just butt themselves into a whitelist only federated network.

It’d be nice to have a list of these sites so one can find out who they may want to block. Know any?

It’s probably easier to go about it the other way around, rather than finding a list to block, why not make a list to whitelist? This way, you can shop around for instances that have solid policy and moderation practices and just whitelist those, if you regularly curate the list, you can get some pretty solid networking effect going.

I don’t know why other replies to you are treating this like a hard question… If we’re talking Mastodon, every instance has an about section that lists all the sites they block.

I think every fediverse tool lets hosts limit who they connect to.

TBH I’m not sure it’ll happen though, why did they create gab, then parler, instead of using mastodon, IMO because they want an echo chamber, so would rather follow the latest right-wing grifter than join established communities.

Gab actually started to use Mastodon but were quickly cut off from the network. Not sure what they are doing now.

Me neither. The admins on this instance will try to ban facists as they come in and remove their content.
