Battery life on my Varia is pretty decent, plus it can be run with external power if you’re on a really long ride and you need extra run time.

It’s quite likely that you’d be able to connect a Varia to your Garmin watch if it’s a reasonably recent model. Then you could get radar alerts as vibrations on the watch.

Saw 600 in Shanghai a few years ago. It was horrific. Fortunately the Chinese government has made quite a bit of progress in improving air quality in the last decade so such terrible pollution isn’t nearly as common today as it used to be.

Sweet. Sync was my go-to Reddit client, so it’ll be great to have it available for Lemmy in the future.

I’m in Shanghai. I mostly get around by bike, but if I need to go somewhere far or the weather is bad or I’m going with the family, I take the Metro. I don’t own a car and haven’t driven in ages.

Currently running the Xiaomi.eu version of MIUI. Had SparkOS on it for a while a few months ago. Like them both for different reasons, and may go back to Spark at some point in the future.

My favourite too. Been using the 5 day forecast widget on my home screen for several years now.

Redmi K30 Pro. Love the pop up camera and the full screen display with no stupid notch or hole punch. Have no plans to replace it any time soon since I just replaced the battery and everything else is still good as new.

That would be great. It would make leaving Reddit for Lemmy that much easier. Sync was also my preferred way to browse Reddit and I’ll miss it.

Calgarian living in Shanghai here. Really disappointed in the direction that reddit is heading, so may be looking for a new home. Hoping to find discussions about hockey, cycling, Android, and scifi / Star Trek which were my favourite things to talk about on reddit.

Just joined up. Pretty sad to see what’s happening to Reddit. Don’t know if can stand the place anymore if I can’t use Sync. Hope this place will be able to take its place.
