You think Dennis Allen and Josh and del Rio deserved more time?
You think Dennis Allen and Josh and del Rio deserved more time?
It all depends on the QB and HC. I don’t think we’re contending with the former. And the latter might want to do another roster tear down
Yeah we should get a DE who can actually play professional snaps
We were competitive, we kept fighting for 60 minutes and we ultimately lost because Vic Fangio was going up against a 4th round rookie
Way more positives than negatives. Great effort imo
He probably isn’t the answer but he’s our best path forward this season
Let’s see how he develops
-14 point underdogs as a .500 team is comical
Will never forget how gassed Rod was after that
And I think Rod Smith nearly caught him
Amik Robertson would get absolutely fried by Tyreek at full health, let alone concussed
Yeah but Zack Moss has been benched the last two games and he’s somehow 5th
It just shows most teams do a running back by committee scheme
Why are we celebrating the broncos winning
The 2006 defense was actually pretty good all things considered. 3rd in yards allowed, but 18 in scoring defense
Who is hating on AOC?
This season was going so well at this point
Then it all went to shit in week 3!
Players hated playing for him - and his methods didn’t lead to winning, so it was basically a mutiny by the end
mcDaniels kept players in meetings longer and worked them harder than any team in the league… For no results. Players will buy in to hard work, but not if it doesn’t go anywhere
He is a micromanager who routinely blamed the players for not executing, rather than look at his own game plans
He is famously petty and sensitive - and fell out with a lot of players for no good reason. Just like he was an asshole to Jay Cutler and others in Denver, he immediately fell out with Carr, Waller, Renfrow and others.
His play calling is just conservative and archaic. He hates allowing players any creativity, which is why he fell out with Renfrow and Carr in particular. Carr likes to change plays at the line based on what he sees, mcDaniels hated that
Famously, in the Seattle win last year, Carr audibled into a run that Jacobs broke for a long touchdown. McDaniels was mad he changed the play, not happy we scored a TD
He’d rather lose with his own guys than win with someone elses. Hence the insistence on downgrading to Jimmy G, who he overestimated how much he’d fit in his system, despite failing a physical
Ultimately, mcDaniels sucked all the joy and life out of this team. Which is why they celebrated like you’ve never seen when he got fired.
Yeah because the jets are actually a good team who can beat great teams even with a terrible QB
The main thing though is that the team is happy and having so much fun again. Josh made us the most joyless, miserable franchise in the league
Fun is infectious
This isn’t madden
