I struggle to think of a smoother looking pick than Spillane’s — few things better than a backer perfectly jumping the route going in the other direction.
But off the top of my head, the best picks that come to mind recently are:
Erik Harris to seal the win against the colts: https://www.nfl.com/videos/raiders-first-int-of-19-is-pick-six-from-erik-harris
Daryl Worley was a terrible CB but probably the most remarkable INT ive ever seen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbEj_r3NgB0
Jeff Heath picking Mahomes : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53fPEJb1awo
Kwiatkoski’s one hander against Denver https://www.raiders.com/video/nick-kwiatkoski-intercepts-drew-lock-to-finalize-win-over-denver
Chris Carr pick 6 against Pittsburgh in 2006
Rod Woodson pick 6 in Denver on Monday Night in 2002
Khalil Mack pick 6 on Cam Newton in 2016 (I was there)
Michael Huff game winning INT in 2011 as time expired in Houston (a day after Al Davis’ death.)
amil robertsons game sealing int against the wackers
List division game in the Colosseum against the Chargers. Our defense was probably worse than last year. I can’t remember the guy’s name but he had 2 picks including the game sealing one with 2 minutes left. I sat in row 10 of the black hole and crossed one item off my bucket list.
Zach Wilson to Spillane
Erik Harris picked off Phillip Rivers 3 times on TNF one time
-Mack pick 6 at home vs Panthers ( I was in the black hole and called for a big play from Mack but was so excited I recorded the ground with my old phone 😅). -Conley picking off the Bears in London (that was one epic night at the stadium and the bar afterwards). -Woodson double picks last year vs Manning
Huff vs the Texans for all is the goat
Honorable mentions to Khalil Mack on Newton, and Philip Buchanon snatching one off Steve McNair which was nothing special just a great memory for me as a kid.
Rookie CWood pick 6 of Jake Plummer
Lester Hayes ‘83 playoffs against the Steelers will always stick out in my mind
Charles Woodson cleaning up Haydens mess vs Manning and the broncos
Chandler Jones picking off Meyers lateral last year and running it in. Although that might technically be considered a fumble recovery, I don’t know.
uGH, THOSE AREnet probably top 50…
Willie Brown Super Bowl XI (game was in hand but Brown was one of 3 raiders still on the team that Lost Super Bowl II, and had been to 6 Championship games since and no wins
Jack Squirek (Who is seriously Ill) Super Bowl XVIIIthese are the top 2 If I am thinking NON Super Bowl?
Mike Haynes V Dolphins 1985 (96 Yard Int Return)
Recently? Michael Huff V Texans (game after Al Died)My most memorable was Charles Woodson vs chargers in to seal the game 2013, he also returned a fumble for 6 that game. Was at the game, game didn’t start until 8:30 our time. Was a good night.
The only one that really truly mattered is Jack Squirek.
I think Tory James had a big pick 6 against the dolphins in the playoffs in the 90s that i quasi remember.
It was the 2000 season
