I haven’t used Diaspora yet. I have heard people say that its not really good and Friendica is better, which I also have never tried. Whats your experience with these platforms?

    Friendica had a major backend rewrite which made it ActivityPub native and thus fully compatible with most of the fediverse. Diaspora on the other had is incompatible and thus as a result IMHO slowly becoming irrelevant.

    But why only those two options, there are loads more interesting and probably better developed fediverse software. Check out https://fediverse.party

      Hmm… I did not know that. I though Diaspora supported the activity pub protocol natively. I did check the fediverse party website. Really cool!. Thanks
