I started computer gaming with Rocky’s Boots (90kb), Tie Fighter (13mb), Doom (2.39mb), Wing Commander (5.1mb). I had this same reaction when I saw a game that was 100mb, then 500mb (THAT’S HALF A GIG!), then a full 1 GB!
