What a disgusting turn of events. I can’t imagine allowing a loser like this to tarnish my athletic achievement. You just won the game of your life in front of everyone you have ever loved. The locker room should have been locked down so they could celebrate with people that actually made it happen. One of them put their medal around his neck. 🤮
I was tearing up when the brought out Johnny Gaudreau’s kids to take a picture with the team. It made me think about how wonderful sports and the Olympics can be, rallying family and friends together after tragedy. The catharsis of that win and everyone acknowledging that Johnny should have been there was shattered by this loser trying to experience athletic success.
Instead of being remembered as Olympic champions every player on that team will be remembered as a political prop and pedophile sympathizer.
TBH they should have their medal stripped. Especially after joking on the phone with Trump at the expense of the Women’s National team.
