Agreed. I switch between a mint laptop and an M1Pro - I miss the feature and am looking forward to it. As well, the HEIF support will be a blessing.
I’ve probably not used Cinnamon in close to ten years. Do they have plans to support Wayland yet?
they have to rewrite lots of things for that
Oh this is great news! Back when I had linux mint on my laptop, I tried to fix the lack of gestures, and the program I downloaded ended up locking me out of my login page. It would be great to see gestures baked in.
That’s wild, do you remember what the program was by chance?
Nope, its been a couple years. It was a program that let you add custom gestures.
Are they going to be 1 to 1?
