Eric Trump has hinted that he or another of the Trump family could run for president when his father’s second term in the White House comes to an end.
Eric, who is co-executive vice-president of the Trump Organization, said, the road to the White House “would be an easy one” if he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps.
In an interview with the Financial Times, he said: “The real question is: ‘Do you want to drag other members of your family into it?… Would I want my kids to live the same experience over the last decade that I’ve lived?
“You know, if the answer was yes, I think the political path would be an easy one, meaning, I think I could do it,” he added. “And by the way, I think other members of our family could do it too.”
I mean, the strategy worked well for the republicans the last time. Field the literal worst possible candidate, so that the lazy dems get complacent and start sitting it out in smug virtue signaling comfort instead of, y’know, actually voting, and the moron just gets in by default.
… he’s going to win isn’t he
He’s got none of the charisma and his own father hates him, so no, not without widescale fraud.
Yes. If the US still exists by that time.
Isn’t he pretty resoundingly useless? At least D has a cult of personality, Eric literally has nothing.
He has been known to have been rushed to the hospital once, because he kinda forgot how to breathe.
Oh, honey…
“Easy.” Being the president of the United States is “easy.”
I guess when pa Trump sets such a sterling example, the job must seem effortless.
Easy step because Congress, SCOTUS, and their owners saw to establishing an empire with bloodline empeeors.
Yeah. It’ll be easy, because they’ve rigged all of the vote tallying machines. There’s pretty damning evidence that the Trump team hacked a whole bunch of voting machines and changed votes.
This isn’t the bit about hacking the UPS’s, is it? Because that’s not a thing.
Not sure what UPS is in this context. I’ve seen some compelling statistical analysis that shows some very weird anomalies vs historical data. That is briefly touched upon in this article about a lawsuit in New York.
Similar weirdnesses exist in Pennsylvania where Democrats voted for Democrats across the board except for the presidency.
I feel this is odd enough for examination. I am not firmly convinced of fraud, but i do find it odd there have been few recounts vs prior elections, and near zero media coverage of such questions.
Good lord, we’re still hearing about the 2020 election, but there has been radio silence on the 2024 election.
The latest conspiracy theory is about voting machines getting reprogrammed through their uninterruptable power supplies on a national scale because one of the main UPS vendors was bought out by a Trumpy company. That’s simply not how these devices work.
Now, I can believe there may have been isolated shenanigans that need to be investigated, but I have a simpler explanation for all that: most Americans are sexist, but are smart enough to not admit it publically. Fewer votes were recorded for Harris than we expected because many people said they would vote for her, but didn’t. (And yes, I meant most Americans.)
Stuxnet delivered RCE payloads over USB. Someone should look into these claims. I haven’t seen anything that wasn’t circumstantial, but I also haven’t seen anything that wasn’t possible.
He couldn’t even wait until the planes had landed to send a tweet about bombing Iran. They included a reporter on war plans using non-allowed comms. This isn’t a secret they could keep. If anything, I’ve always interpreted the fix the election mumbles as being about fixing the electoral system for the future, which they are hard at work dismantling things.
Would be hilarious to see a primary with Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka.
Yeah until one of them wins
No it wouldn’t. It’s bad enough.
Both sides are going to eat him alive.
remember a decade ago when Donald Trump was starting in the primaries and it was a joke.
I don’t know about running for President, but running for his life sounds like a wise choice
Hard to see that happening. What is the loyal opposition Democrats going to really go after him hard? When he’s going to do everything their big donors want him to do? Doubt it. And the republicans? You think they’re going to eat him alive? You think they’re ambition will cause them to topple him? That ambition is a myth. Every Congressional Republican has shown that they have no problem giving up all of their power and authority. Conservatives are an inherently servile people. They exist to be ruled. They like having a daddy.
I don’t know Eric’s middle initial but will toss out a guess that it’s W.
